Mid December, snow on the ground, what to do?

Updated: Jan 2, 2019

Ride a fat bike of course!! I had been in the UK for a week and had done absolutely nothing so I decided it was time to get a bike ride in. Rode up to waterfall canyon area from the 29th street trail head. The first part from the trail head up to the Bonneville shoreline trail is moderately steep with a really steep climb right before you meet up with the shoreline trail. The trail head is at 4762 ft. and by the time you meet up with the BST you are at 5230 ft. over a distance of only .8 miles. Most of the ride was in nice packed snow, some with a touch of ice and some drive and wet dirt. Overall, it was a great ride with a total distance of 5.11 miles and 1:11:34 time with a max speed of 18.3 mph.
